摘要
本文以2011~2015年沪深两市A股上市公司为样本,以"特征—战略决策—社会绩效"为研究框架,以研发投入为中介视角,研究CEO特征与企业社会责任之间的作用机制。研究表明,CEO学历、性别和职能背景与企业社会责任存在显著相关性;CEO学历、任期、职能背景和自主权对研发投入有显著影响;研发投入在CEO职能背景对企业社会责任的影响中存在完全中介效应,在CEO学历与企业社会责任的关系中存在部分中介效应,在CEO任期、性别、自主权对企业社会责任的影响中存在遮掩效应。本文将研发投入作为中介变量引入CEO特征与企业社会责任关系的研究,为后续研究开拓了新的方向。
Based on A-share listed companies during year 2011 to 2015, taking the "features, strategic decision and social performance" as the framework and the R&D investment as the research perspective, this paper studies the interaction mechanism between CEO features and corporate social responsibility. It finds out that there is a significant correlation between the corporate social responsibility and the educational background, the gender as well as the functional background of CEO; the educational background, the tenure, the functional background and the liberty have significant influences on R&D investment; the R&D investment plays a completely mediating role in the influence of CEO functional background on corporate social responsibility, plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between CEO educational background and corporate social responsibility, and plays a masking role in the influence of CEO tenure, gender, liberty on corporate social responsibility. The introduction of R&D investment into the research of the relationship between CEO features and corporate social responsibility is helpful for exploring new directions for further research.
