摘要
采用Logistic回归方法对大学英语成就测验的阅读试题进行性别DIF检测,结果显示只有1个题目存在非一致性性别DIF。分析发现,试题不存在内容及形式上的偏差,非一致性DIF可能是由试题的难易度及所测的能力引起。后续研究可采取统计方法或收集考生有关信息进一步探讨DIF产生的原因,以提高考试分数的解释性。
In this study,the author employs logistic regression to detect bias in the reading section of a college English achievement test. The result indicates that one item is flagged as having non-uniform DIF. Since test content and format are not the factors responsible for the non-uniform DIF,the item is deemed unbiased. In future studies,researchers are advised to employ statistical techniques or collect information about the test takers to probe deeper into the causes of DIF in order to have a better interpretation of test results.
