睡虎地汉简质日简册简背划线初探

A Preliminary Study of the Verso Lines of the Shuihudi Han Bamboo Strip Texts

目前学界一般认为"简册背划线"是为了避免简册编联顺序错乱而刻划的。通过对睡虎地汉简质日简册背划线的分析,认为背划线的制作主要是剖简工匠为了确定剖简的起始点及确保同一竹筒所剖竹简间的左右位置关系,便于后期的成册、成卷。

It is generally believed that verso lines on bamboo strips were made in order to prevent strips from getting out of order. After analyzing the verso lines on the Han calendar from Shuihudi,however, the author concludes that such markings were used by the craftsperson who cut the bamboo into strips in order to mark the first cut and the left-right relationship of the other strips cut from the same cylinder of bamboo.
