摘要
胰腺及胰岛移植在Dean及其同事最新的综述（见本刊2017年第20卷第9期518页）中得到了国际上前所未有的重视，这是非常令人耳目一新的。由于目前转诊至英国胰腺移植中心,的比例较低，不能反映通过手术干预获益的人数．因此，改善转诊医生对胰腺移植潜在获益的认识和理解非常重要。Dean的综述侧重介绍了胰腺及胰岛移植的适应证和结局。但这只代表了受者一方的过程，而并未了解供者所面临的主要挑战。
