In this paper, the application of RFID technology in aviation maintenance and aircraft component management is discussed. The application status and international standardization status of radio frequency identification （RFID） technology in aircraft component management are summarized. In view of the special requirements of aircraft component management, the main application standards of RFID in the management of components are analyzed. Through the grasp and analysis of the characteristics and performance of aviation component, the reasonable use of RFID technology can significant enhance the strength of aviation enterprises.
