摘要
本研究通过内省法探讨了考生在全国大学英语六级考试段落翻译测试中的的翻译策略使用情况。研究发现,考生在答题中除了使用Kiraly(1997)提出的20种翻译策略中的大部分外,还使用了作者提出的其他10种策略。另外研究还发现翻译策略使用的多少以及在翻译四个阶段的策略使用情况与考生的英语水平有关。本研究为段落翻译测试设计者提供了更清晰、更深刻的理解,也从教育学的角度,对翻译教学提出了一些建议。
This study explored the translation strategies used in the College English Test-6 (CET-6) paragraph trans-lation test by introspective approach. The study found that most of the twenty strategies proposed by Kiraly (1997)and other ten strategies proposed by the author were used by the subjects in the experiment. Furthermore, this studyfound that the overall use of translation strategies and the use of which at the different four translation phases are relat-ed to the English proficiency of the test-takers. This study not only provides clearer and deeper understanding for par-agraph translation test designers, but also gives some suggestions to translation teachers.
