湖南汨罗是伟大的爱国诗人屈原投江殉难的地方，汨罗市政府将在这里建造一批纪念屈原的重要建筑。本期《建筑遗产》借常青教授承担的汨罗屈子书院建设项目为契机，以“湖湘风土建筑”为主题，探讨一个既古老而又有着现实意义的话题。

Miluo, located in Hunan Province in China, is the place where the famous patriotic poet Qu Yuan committed suicide by wading into the Miluo River. The government of Miluo has planned to construct a complex of memorial buildings for Qu Yuan. Given that Professor Chang Qing is supervising the building of the Quzi Academy under this project, the theme of ＇Vernacular Architecture in the Huxiang Area＇, which explores the contemporary meanings of this ancient architecture, was selected for this issue of Heritage Architecture.
