晚清民国时期自杀现象的社会因素探析

On the Social Factors of Suicide in the Late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China

自杀行为自古即有,到晚清民国时期成为一大社会问题。自杀现象的大范围出现,虽是各种因素所引起,但社会因素仍是主导因素。这一时期,政治变化、经济问题、文化冲突以及媒体舆论等,都成为自杀的重要社会诱因。

Suicide has been in existence since ancient China, and it became a major social problem in the late Qing dynasty and the Republic of China. The phenomenon of suicide emerged on a large scale. Although the phenome- non was caused by various factors, social factors were still playing a leading role. During this period, political chan- ges, economic problems, cultural conflicts and media opinions made up the leading factors to suicide.
