Situational strategy is an innovative teaching strategy that can play an important role and value in English writing teaching inhigher vocational education. This article takes the advantages of situational strategy in English writing teaching in higher vocational edu-cation as the starting point of the research, and explores the application approach of situational strategy in higher vocational English writ-ing teaching in three dimensions including selecting and developing teaching resources rationally, creating teaching content meticulouslyand designing the teaching process rationally. The conclusion of the article has important reference value for promoting the application ofsituational strategies in English writing teaching in higher vocational education and cultivating and improving the English writing ability ofstudents.
