地方高校大学英语ESP课程教学现状调查及思考

On the Current Situation and Reflection of ESP Teaching in Local University

随着我国国际交往日益扩大和中学生英语整体水平的提高,很多高校已将ESP课程纳入大学英语课程体系,旨在培养具有特定专业知识、能用英语从事工作和进行国际交流的复合型人才。本文以贵州某高校430名非英语专业学生及部分授课教师为研究对象,通过访谈及调查问卷的形式对该校ESP教学现状进行了调查分析,并对现存问题进行了思考。

With the expansion of China＇s international exchange in the world and the overall improvement of students＇ English level inhigh schools, many universities have incorporated ESP into the college English curriculum, aiming at cultivating versatile talents withspecific professional knowledge and the ability to work and conduct international exchange. With 430 non-English majors and some re-lated teachers as the research subjects and through questionnaire and interviews, the paper has analyzed the current situations of ESPteaching and put forward some reflections to the present problems.
