Rice cv. ＇Yongyou 1540＇ was a new hybrid rice cultivar of Oryza sativa subsp, indica and O. sativa subsp. Japonica bred from 15A×F7540. It was introduced into Ninghua County, Fujian Province in 2017 as post-tobacco rice, showing strong vigor, thick stem and good resistance to lodging, moderate maturity period, wide adaptability, large spike and more grains, high seed setting ratio, high yield and high quality.
