Problems and Treatment Measures of the Urban Domestic Water in Lanzhou in 1940s

20世纪40年代,受当时客观条件与主观因素的制约,兰州市生活用水问题极为突出。为此,兰州市政府采取了诸如加强水源管理及公共饮水消毒、修建官方给水站、兴办自来水工程等措施,对城市供水系统进行治理与改造。但最终因财政拮据、时局动荡、工业基础薄弱等因素的限制,相关措施均未能取得理想效果。该过程曲折且复杂,留下了历史经验与教训,对于今天兰州市的基础建设、自来水事业的可持续发展仍有其参考价值。

In 1940 s,due to the constraints of the objective and subjective factors at that time,the problem of urban domestic water in Lanzhou City was extremely prominent. Therefore,Lanzhou municipal government has taken measures such as strengthening the management of water sources and disinfecting public drinking water,building official water supply stations,and setting up water supply projects to control and reform the urban water supply system. However,due to financial constraints,unstable political environment and weak industrial infrastructure,the relevant measures failed to achieve the desired results. The process was arduous and complicated,leaving profound historical experience and lessons. It also has some reference value for the sustainable development of infrastructure construction and tap water business in Lanzhou.
