近代福州文人何振岱,擅长作诗填词,并精通书画,琴艺亦属上乘。何振岱在世时便以诗文名世,其词作、楹联均称佳作,诗论亦富有个人特色。他不仅学问渊博扎实,而且品格高尚,教书育人极为严谨,堪称近现代史上的一位通儒。

He Zhendai,a modern scholar in Fuzhou,is good at poetry and proficient in calligraphy and painting. The skill of playing the Chinese Guqin is also very good. He was famous for his poems when he was alive. He has done an excellent work of Ci and couplets,and his poetic theory is full of personal characteristics. He is not only knowledgeable,but also has a noble character. He is very strict in teaching and educating. He is an outstanding scholar in Chinese modern history.
