Objective: To investigate the effect of combined use of azithromycin and aspirin in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease during acute exacerbation. Methods: 105 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with complete treatment information were selected as the subjects of this study. They were divided into control group( n = 52) and observation group( n = 53) according to the order of admission. The observation group was treated with aspirin and azithromycin on the basis of conventional treatment, while the control group was treated with conventional treatment. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed. Results: The overall effective rate of the observation group was 94. 3 %,which was higher than that of the control group( 80. 8 %),and the difference was statistically significant( P 〈 0. 05). The forced vital capacity( FVC),1 second forced expiratory volume( FEV1) and FEV1/FVC values of the observers were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant( P 〈 0. 05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups( P 〉 0. 05). Conclusion: The combination of azithromycin and aspirin in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease can improve the patients’ therapeutic effect and improve the patient’s lung function.
