创业者与投资人的冲突、信任及其对创业绩效的影响

The Effects of Venture Capitalist-Entrepreneur Conflicts and Trust on Entrepreneurial Performance

组织内冲突的研究结论并不适合创业冲突领域的研究。基于委托代理理论和资源依赖理论等理论,确定了利益冲突、任务冲突和情感冲突三种投资人与创业者冲突的类型,并采用创业企业家样本验证了"投资人与创业者不同冲突类型与创业绩效"的影响关系。同时,尝试着将信任作为调节变量引入,观察其对不同冲突类型与创业企业绩效影响的调节效应。研究发现,任务冲突对创业绩效产生正向显著的影响;利益冲突和情感冲突会破坏投资人与创业者的关系,进而对创业绩效产生负向显著的影响。信任对投资人与创业者冲突类型与创业绩效的关系存在调节影响:弱化了利益冲突与情感冲突对创业绩效的负向影响,但调节作用不明显;与组织内冲突研究结论不同,信任显著增强了任务冲突对创业绩效的正向影响。

The conclusions of organizational conflict research are simply not suitable for researches on entrepreneurial conflicts.Based on principal-agent theory,resource dependence theory and other theories,this paper proposes three types of conflicts between entrepreneur and venture capitalist,which are conflict of interest,task conflict and emotional conflict,and then uses the samples from entrepreneurs to test the effects of conflicts between the VC and entrepreneur on entrepreneurial performance.Meanwhile,this paper also introduces trust as a moderator to test the moderating effect on the relationship of conflicts between the VC and entrepreneur and entrepreneurial performance.Results show that task conflict has positive effect on performance whereas conflict of interest and emotional conflict have negative effects on it.Trust moderates the relationship between these two parties and slightly weakens the negative effect;Trust significantly enhances the positive effect of task conflict on entrepreneurial performance,which is different from the conclusion drawn by organizational conflict research.
