斗母宫是泰山著名古建筑群,明末到"文革"后期一直为尼僧住持,从第一代住持性江,到最后一代住持正品,前后延续近400年。尼僧们在恪守佛法、静心修行的同时,结交名门望族,四处募化,为斗母宫的修建做出了贡献。

Palace of Goddess Dou Mu is world-famous ancient architectural complexes of Mount Tai.There has always been the nun abbots from late Ming dynasty to the late cultural revolution,from the first generation of the nun named ＂ xing jiang＂,to the last generation of the nun named ＂ zheng pin＂. In the past 400 years,a special history has been formed. Over a long period of time,the nun always associated with notable family and collected alms when they adhere to Buddhism and meditation practice. They made great contributions to the formation and repair of the ancient architectural complexes,also left a precious spiritual achievement and historical and cultural wealth for future generations.
