摘要
技术教育在注重传授知识和技能的同时,忽视了对人的德性的培养和情感的熏陶,在一定程度上割裂了科学与人文的有机统一。怀特海在教育领域中创造性地阐发了科学教育的思想,对现代技术教育存在的问题进行了深刻的反思。教育模式的转化只是作为一种手段,其最终目的还是为了实现人的自由和全面的发展服务的。怀特海对技术教育和科学教育的体察和审思,为我国素质教育的改革提供了参考和借鉴。
Technical education focuses on teaching knowledge and skills. However, it ignores the cultivation of human virtue and the edification of emotion, which makes it separate the organic unity of science and humanities for that matter. Whitehead not only creatively introduced the thought of scientific education into the education field, but also profoundly reflected on the problems within the modern technical education. The transformation of education model is only a method to realize the goal of free and all-round development of human being. Whitehead's observation and reflection on technical education and scientific education provide reference for the reform of quality education in China.
