Mechanisms of Institutional Change in Historical Institutionalism Paradigm——The Theoretical Development of Endogenous Institutional Change

内生性制度变迁机制的理论进展是历史制度主义不断突破自身理论建构局限、拓展研究视野、增加重点分析变量的过程,也是研究重点从制度如何建构政治到政治行为如何改变制度,再到制度结构如何制约、规范各变量之间的互动以保持自身稳定的过程。这不是朝向原点的回归,而是一个轮回的完成,是理论探究的不断超越和升华。

The theoretical development of endogenous institutional change is a process of constant breakthrough of historical institutionalism＇s theory building, the widening of research horizon and the increasing of vital analyzing variables. In this process, the focus of esearch changes from how institutions structures political behaviors to how political actions changes institutions and finally to a recent new research trend that focuses on strategies used for maintaining institutions stability against institutional change. This does not mean returming to the starting point, whereas it is equal to the complement of rotation, which is the continuous transcendence and sublimation of the the- oretical research.
