This paper introduces the RH impregnated snorkel castable, which is prepared with high- purity calcium aluminate cement as binder, active α-Al2O3 micro fine as additive and fused corundum as aggregate. It also studies the effects of the ratios for different kinds of corundum and addition of spinel on thermal shock resistance and erosion resistance.
