Purging plugs play an important role in molten refining process. As the refractory products, purging plugs can wear out during use, which will affect production and even cause breakout accident when they badly wear out. Based on the work environment of purging plug in refining ladle, causes of purging plug break out are analyzed and effective measures for improvement are proposed.
