摘要
脊索瘤是一种相对罕见的原发性骨肿瘤,具有较强的局部侵袭性和较高的术后复发率。通常认为脊索瘤起源于胚胎时期残留的脊索组织,临床常见于脊柱两端,即斜坡和骶尾部。由于脊索瘤对放化疗相对不敏感,手术治疗仍是目前脊索瘤治疗的核心。随着放疗技术的发展,质子治疗和重离子治疗也展现出一定的治疗效果。此外,随着对脊索瘤分子机制的深入了解,靶向药物或将成为治疗脊索瘤的一种新手段。
Chordomas are rare primary malignant tumors, notorious for their locally invasive growth and propensity to reoccur. Presumed to be derived from notochordal remnants, these tumors are most frequently observed at clivus and sacrococcygeal area. Due to their insensitivity to radiotherapy and chemotherapy, surgery remains the foundation of present treatment. Moreover, stereotactic radiotherapy using proton and heavy ions has also exhibited promising effect. Overall, with the increasing understanding of molecular mechanisms underlying chordoma development, targeted therapy may provide a novel option in future treatment.
