Objective This study aimed to investigate the correlation between white blood cell count(WBC),C reactive protein(CRP)and neutrophil lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and cardiac structural changes in patients with atrial fibrillation. Methods A total of 108 patients with atrial fibrillation(observation group)and 60 cases with normal physical examination in our hospital(control group)from January 2016 to January 2017 were selected retrospectively as the research objects. The gender, age, body mass index and other clinical data was recorded, and the correlation between WBC,CRP and NLR and cardiac structural parameters was analyzed. Results The level of CRP and NLR in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the cardiac structural parameters of the observation group were greater than those of the control group(P〈0.05).Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between WBC and the cardiac structural parameters,CRP been negatively correlated with those parameters.NLR was positively correlated with LVPWT and LVD in cardiac structural parameters, while negatively correlated with other parameters. Conclusion There was significant correlation between WBC,CRP and NLR and cardiac structural parameters in patients with atrial fibrillation, which may be risk factors for atrial fibrillation and be used as important indicators of clinical assessment.
