随着互联网技术的蓬勃发展,网络语言也快速兴起。打着大众文化烙印的网络语言,自产生起就具有种类风格多、更新换代快的特点,而其中,有一类极具"中国特色"的网络语言——单个生僻字。这类字本应随着使用频率的急剧下降而被"淘汰",却又因网络语言的兴起再度焕发生机,其背后原因值得深思。使用单个生僻字作为网络流行语,对于年轻网民来说,一方面可以张扬个性,娱乐自己和大众,另一方面可以让自己的表达无论从形式上还是意义上都更加丰富多彩,两大原因结合,这才造就了"网红"生僻字产生并迅速流行开来的现状。

The network language branded with popular culture has the char- acteristics of various styles and fast renewal since it came into being. Among them, there is a kind of network language with ＂Chinese characteristics＂. This kind of words should be ＂ eliminated＂ with the sharp decline in the frequency of use, but revitalized again because of the rise of network language, the reason behind it is worth pondering. The use of a single odd word as a network buzzword, for young netizens, on the one hand, can publicize per- sonality, entertain themselves and the public, on the other hand, can let their expression in both form and meaning are more colorful, the combination of two major reasons, which created a ＂cyber red＂ odd word and quickly popular.
