Objective To study the clinical nursing effect of radiotherapy for elderly patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with diabetes. Methods Forty patients with elderly tumors and diabetes mellitus who were treated in the hospital from January 2017 to May 2018 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, while the experimental group used personalized nursing intervention. Blood glucose control, tumor status, and quality of life improvement were compared between the two groups. Results The blood glucose control, tumor improvement and quality of life improvement of the experimental group were significantly better than the control group(P〈0.05). Conclusion Personalized nursing intervention can not only effectively improve the blood glucose status of elderly patients, but also significantly control the spread of tumors in patients, and it is beneficial to improve the quality of life of patients. It should be promoted and used in clinical treatment.
