The isomerization reactor contracted by PetroChina Seventh Construction Company is the core unit in the first phase transformation project of Kazakhstan PKOP refinery,also the first isomerization reactor in Kazakhstan. Catalyst loading of the isomerization reactor is the core process in the construction,and the anaerobic loading technique is adopted. The whole process of the catalyst anaerobic loading is introduced in detail from the following aspects：engineering difficulties,construction preparation,loading equipment,catalyst loading,safety protection,safety measures and so on. The anaerobic catalyst loading is a fast,labor-saving and low cost technique to complete catalyst loading smoothly,which has reference significance for overseas follow-up catalyst loading operations of isomerization reactors.
