Taking Ling Tong water source of Gaoyou Lake as a research case, the emergency plan forsudden pollution incidents in drinking water sources was discussed. According to the seriousness andurgency of the emergent pollution incidents in the centralized drinking water source, the emergencypollution incidents in the centralized drinking water source were divided into 4 grades. The emergencyorganization and responsibility were determined. The emergency work case was formulated based on theactual situation of the water source, which including the prevention and early warning, the emergencyresponse, the emergency response, and emergency dispatching and safeguard measures, in order to providedecision support for water conservancy system to deal with sudden water pollution incidents in water sources.
