In this paper, several typical cases or insulating glass sealant failure were introduced. By using modern analytical techniques such as infrared spectroscopic analysis, thermogravimetric analysis and gas chromatography mass spectrometry, the influencing factors and causes or the failure were analyzed. It provided a reference for solving similar practical application problems in the future.
