"文质雅俗"视角下的唐诗《玉阶怨》英译探析

Analysis of the English Translation of The Jewel Stairs' Grievance from the Perspective of “Wen,Zhi,Ya and Su”

唐代李白的诗歌《玉阶怨》以其诗中并无"怨"字,而幽怨之情处处彰显,历来被人所推崇。从"文雅派""质雅派""文俗派""质俗派"四个新流派的角度,分析不同译者的译文,可以更好地探讨译者不同的译诗风格,从而为中国诗英译研究提供一个新的研究方向,促进其英译质量的提高,从而更好地让它们"走出去"。

Li Bai＇s poem The Jewel Stairs’ Grievance has always been appreciated due to the fact that the grievance is suggestedthroughout the whole poem though there is no explicit expression of grievance. From the four new schools of the English translation ofChinese poetry, namely Wenya,Zhiya ,Wensu and Zhisu, different English translations of the poem are analyzed for a better understandingof the translators’ different styles. It provides a new research direction for the English translation of Chinese poetry, aiming to promote thetranslation quality and to help them go global.
