加拿大阿尔伯塔大学战略发展规划研究及启示

美国著名战略规划专家乔治·凯勒在其《大学战略规划》一书中讲到大学战略规划有六大意义,其中被广为认同的是"战略规划有助于增强学校的竞争力",正是因为认识到这一点,世界各知名高校无一例外都非常重视战略发展规划的制定。文章通过对加拿大阿尔伯塔大学正在实施的战略发展规划制定过程和内容进行解读,以期对中国一流大学发展战略的制定和实施提供借鉴和启示。

In his book University Strategic Planning, George Keller, a famous American strategic planning expert, said that thereare six meanings in university strategic planning, among which it is widely recognized that ＂strategic planning helps to enhance thecompetitiveness of universities＂. It is because of this that every famous university in the world attaches great importance to the formulation of strategic development plan. This paper analyzes the process and content of the strategic planning which is being implemented by Alberta University in Canada in order to provide reference and inspiration of the formulation of the development strategyfor Chinese universities.
