《孔乙己》中的方言翻译规范化研究

Research on the Translation Norms of the Dialects in Kong Yiji

以鲁迅《孔乙己》中"方言土语"的英语译文为语料,尝试从描述翻译学角度探讨译者的方言翻译策略,分析他们遵循的起始翻译规范,并研究其翻译决策选取和规范遵循的内在原因。研究结果表明,无论译者采取何种翻译方法,在翻译过程中选用何种翻译机制,译者的行为都受制于其所遵循的翻译规范,而译者遵循的翻译规范则受译者的翻译诗学、所在社会的主流翻译规范、对目标语读者的定位以及翻译赞助人等因素的影响。

Taking the English translation of dialects in LU Xun's Kong Yiji as corpus,this paper tries to discuss the dialect translation strategies from the perspective of descriptive translation studies,analyze the adopted initial translation norms,and study the translation strategy selection and the underlying reasons of forms. The results show that whatever translation method or mechanism a translator adopts in the translation process,the translator's behavior is subject to the translation norms he follows. And the norms are influenced by such factors as translator's translation poetics,the mainstream translation norms of the society,the target readers' orientation,and the patronages.
