Analysis on Translation of New Words in the 19th CPC National Congress under Functionalist Approaches

以德国为代表的功能主义翻译理论的主要内容是翻译行为需达到目的决定着整个翻译行为的过程,归结起来就是结果决定方法。以十九大报告部分语句为例,从忠实、通顺两个原则出发,分析其是如何在忠实原文的基础上达成翻译目的。对翻译学习者具有借鉴意义,对日后译者更好地翻译政治文献具有积极作用。

The main content of German Functionalist Approaches is that the whole process of translation is deter- mined by the goal result leads to method. From the two principles of faithfulness and expressiveness, under the theoretical basis of German Functionalist Approaches, this paper, taking some words extracted from the Report of the 19th National Congress of Communist Party of China that are pertinent to the social development as examples,analy- zes the ways applied to choose words to achieve purpose of translation. This paper can be served as reference for translation learners and also contribute to the translation of political documents in the future.
