Study on the Endangerment of the "Dai" Ethnic Dialect of "Bajia"

傣语方言八甲话是处于濒危状态的一种语言,通过调查并用典型例证进行分析比较,发现其发生衰变甚至是处于濒危的状态,最明显的表现就是语言活力不足。从对人类语言文化遗产保护的角度出发,有必要对八甲话采取有效的措施,加强对这一语言的记录与保存,为语言的抢救和保护提供强有力的支撑材料,有利于人类珍贵文化遗产的传承。

Bajia dialect, a ＂Dai＂ ethnic dialect, is endangered. With investigation and comparison through case study, this paper reports this dialect＇s development from declining to its current endangerment, especially due to its deficiency in vigor. For the protection of cultural heritage of human languages, it is necessary to take effective protective measures to protect Bajia dialect, by strengthening its record and protection. The protection of this dialect can provide with powerful support materials for the rescue and protection of endangered languages, and can be conducive to the inheritance of human precious culture.
