“中国天眼”位于贵州省黔南市，具有我国自主知识产权。专家称“中国天眼”足足领先世界10到20年。通过500米口径球面射电望远镜，我国对暗物质以及暗物质的变化规律、脉；中星以及来自其他星体的生命信号进行勘探，甚至能够研讨生命的来源和宇宙的演变，这对我国航空航天的技术发展有着重要意义。
The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical （口径球面） radio Telescope（FAST）, nicknamed Tianyan, ＂Heavenly Eye＂ or ＂The Eye of Heaven＂, is a radio telescope located in the Dawodang Depression （大窝凼洼地）.It consists of a fixed 500m diameter dish constructed in a natural depression in the land- scape.It is the world＇s largest filled-aperture radio telescope.
