习近平总书记在十九大报告中指出:文化是一个国家、一个民族的灵魂。文化兴国运兴,文化强民族强。要坚持中国特色社会主义文化发展道路,建设社会主义文化强国,就需要对文化、文化精神、文化自信的深刻意涵有明确的界定。只有真正做到"古为今用、推陈出新",实现文化的自我认同、自我延续与自我更新,才是新时代文化建设的枢钥。

General Secretary Xi Jinping points out in the reports of the 19th National Congress of CPC that culture is a soul of the country and nation, ff the culture is prosperous then the national destiny is bright; if the culture is strong then the nation is powerful. In order to adhere to the socialist cultural development line with Chinese Characteristics and to build a socialist cultural power, there should be a clear definition of the profound meaning of culture, cultural spirit and cultural confidence. The key to cultural construction in the new era is to adapt ancient forms for the present-day use, bring forth the new through the old, and realize the self identity, self continuity and self renewal of culture.
