基于扎根理论的现代社交礼仪的有效性研究

Research on the Effectiveness of Modern Social Etiquette Using a Grounded Theory Approach

社会上存在着很多规范,社交礼仪是社会规范的一种。大部分礼仪习惯是从传统中流传下来的,且文献中只阐述了社交礼仪的良好影响,在现代社会不全部适用。本文采用扎根理论,研究了社交礼仪在现代社会的有效性、特征以及对现代社会的影响。研究发现不同的群体对社交礼仪有效性的看法有着很大的分歧。同时还发现,在特定情况下,社交礼仪会带有功利性与目的性。此外,社交礼仪对于男性和女性要求的偏重点存在着很大的差异。

Society has many norms, and social etiquette is one of them. Social etiquette is mostly a set of traditions passed down from our predecessors. Although the literature has mainly focused on its positive influences, social etiquette might not be totally relevant in the modern society. Thus, adopting a grounded theory approach, we investigated the effectiveness of social etiquette in the modern society, and we also studied its features and its influence on the modern society. We found that social groups perceive the effectiveness of social etiquette differently. We also found that under certain circumstances, social etiquette can be driven by utilitarianism and motives. In addition, we found that the social etiquette expectations for individuals of different sexes are different.
