This paper analyzes the invention and development of printing from such factors as the originof writing, cultural development, social influence and technological maturity, and explores the originand application of ancient printing in China before the mid-15th century. Following the development ofprinting, we are presented with the development of civilization, the change of society and the evolutionof design.
