The Franchises of printing is a monopoly right to the industry or the printing and publishingof books which granted by the king, which has the characteristics of preemptive, unique and exclusive. However, in the modern Britain, there was a special phenomenon, that university press and king'sprinters both had the franchises of printing and publishing of similar books.
