公民教育是英国中小学教育中的重要内容。英国公民教育经历了长期的发展,形成了较为完善的公民教育目标、合理的课程体系、多样的实施途径、规范的教育评价。文章以福克斯莫尔小学为例,分析英国公民教育的具体实施情况,最后对英国公民教育的实施效果和存在的一些问题进行总结。

Civic education is an important part of British primary and secondary edu-cation. British civic education has experienced long-term development,forming a relat-ively complete civic education goal, a reasonable curriculum system, diverse impleme-ntation approaches, and standardized educational evaluation.This article take Foxmore Elementary School as an example,to analyze the implementation of British citizenship education.Finally,it summarizes the implementationeffect and some existing problems of British citizenship education.
