Mental health education of college students is an important part of ideological and political education, and it is also an important education content in the development of college students. This article will briefly analyze the status and significance of the counselors＇ psychological health education for college students, and discuss the theoretical basis and practical approaches for the coun- selors to carry out psychological health education for college students, which mainly include adhering to the guidelines of socialist core values and improving the mental health education team of students to promote the refinement and scientific development of college students＇ psychological health education.
