The municipal sewage treatment is an important and arduous work. The cyclic activated sludge system can effectively treat the municipal domestic and industrial wastewater. The paper analyzes the technological composition and characteristic of the cyclic activated sludge technology （CAST）. By taking the engineering example, the paper introduces the technical route and calculates the debugging parameter and provides a theoretic basis for the debugging of CAST technology in the municipal sewage treatment plant.
