The vehicle networking is applied as the internet of things technology in the intelligent transportation system, and it has a very broad prospect, and has a high technical and economic feasibility. Through introducing the basic concept of vehicle networking, and combined with the practical application and characteristics of the vehicle networking, the paper discusses the application of the vehicle networking in the aspects of security travel, system structure and vehicle terminal hardware and so on. Meanwhile, the vehicle networking technology also involves many other disciplines, and needs more and more in-depth research.
