中医问诊术语临床英译探讨

Discussion on Clinical Translation of Inquiry Terms of TCM

中医问诊术语英译是中医临床用语英译的重要部分。文章结合中医临床英译实践,以《中医药学名词》,WHO International Standard Terminologies on Traditional Medicine in the Western Pacific Region和《中医基本名词术语中英对照国际标准》三大中医术语标准收录的中医问诊术语为蓝本,探讨对应性、自然性、通俗性和文化性原则在中医问诊术语英译中的应用。

Inquiry terms are one of the key elements of clinical terms of TCM. In combination of clinical practice, we discuss application of principles of correspondence, naturalization, popularity and culture in translation of inquiry terms of TCM. The statistical data in our research are collected based on three versions of English translation of TCM terminologies, including Chinese Terms in Traditional Chinese Medicine, WHO International Standard Terminologies on Traditional Medicine in the Western Pacific Region and International Standard Chinese-English Basic Terminologies of Chinese Medicine .
