摘要
在现代主义绘画理论的阐释中,美国抽象表现主义显现出高度抽象的风格,但是后世一些艺术家和批评家却提出了与之相反的见解。通过分析这一争论,我们可以认为,人们在抽象问题上产生的分歧,体现出认知上的差异。这是因为他们处于不同的阐释群体。承认观者的主观性在意义中的建构,不仅是合理阐释抽象绘画的前提,也是进入一切阐释的前提。
In the interpretation of modernist painting theory, American Abstract Expressionism shows a highly abstract style. However, later generations of artists and critics have put forward the opposite view. By analyzing this debate, we can conclude that people differ in their interpretations of abstraction because they are in the different cognitive and interpretive groups. Acknowledging the viewer’s subjectivity in the construction of meaning is not only the premise of reasonable interpretations of abstract paintings, but also the premise of all interpretations.
