作为国内最具代表性的民营专业美术馆之一,北京民生现代美术馆致力于现当代艺术的研究、收藏、展示、教育和传播,它和上海民生现代美术馆一起构成了民生美术机构的行动平台,一道积极推动中国艺术的创新发展。作为北京民生现代美术馆学术品牌展览,2018年6月举办的"中国当代艺术年鉴展2017"是中国当代艺术年鉴展在北京民生现代美术馆第四次展出,也是当代艺术年鉴展系列规模最大的一次,展览系统记录历史、提倡平等对话、鼓励实验和推动创新、揭示和反映了当下文化观念和发展趋势,其价值指向与业界的重要判断也产生了很好的联结。《当代美术家》对话北京民生现代美术馆馆长周旭君,就"中国当代艺术年鉴展2017"、艺术生态、美术馆功能等话题进行了探讨。

As one of the most representative private art museums in China, Beijing Minsheng Art Museum is dedicated to the research, collection, demonstration, education and broadcasting of contemporary art. Together with Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum, Beijing Minsheng Art Museum has constructed Minsheng Art Institute’s platform of actions to promote the innovative development of Chinese art. As the academic brand exhibition, “The Exhibition of Annual of Contemporary Art of China2017” was held in June, 2018, and this is the fourth time that “The Exhibition of Annual of Contemporary Art of China” has been exhibited in Beijing Minsheng Art Museum, and it is the largest one in scale. This exhibition has systematically recorded history, advocated equal dialogue, encourage experiment, promote innovation and reveal the current cultural concepts and developmental trends, whose value orientation has closely connected with the important judgement in this domain. Contemporary Artists interviewed Zhou Xujun, director of Beijing Minsheng Art Museum to discuss on the topics of “The Exhibition of Annual of Contemporary Art of China 2017”, art ecology and functions of art museum.
