This paper briefly introduces the important role of lubricating oil system in motor driven turbine unit,the conventional control method of lubricating oil system failure is introduced,the security risks of conventional practices are analyzed. An automatic shutdown method of motor driven turbine unit in case of failure of control system and lubricating oil system is presented. The working principle and specific measures of the method are described in detail. After a lot of on-site verification,the method has a good practical effect.
