Handicrafts for the Costume Patterns of Guizhou's Yi People:Research and Development and Approaches

彝族服饰是彝族传统文化的重要载体,其形式、图案、技艺、材质都应当被详细记录和研究分析。在大力实施多彩贵州民族特色文化强省建设工程的新背景下,应以新的研究视角和方法,寻求新的立足点,对贵州彝族服饰中图案元素进行收集整理、创意设计,汲取贵州彝族丰富多彩的民族图案元素为养分,以创新突破为手段,以市场需求为目标,研发一批有文化品位、有民族特色、与当代审美流行相结合、多种技法材料综合运用的创新型彝族图案手工艺品。

The Yi people＇ s costumes are an important vehicle of traditional Yi＇ s culture. The relevant traditional forms, picture patterns, craftsmanship and texture should be recorded and analyzed in detail. Especially, under the new background of strategy that reinvigorating Guizhou province through colorful and special ethnic culture, new research perspectives and methods should be adopted to find new grounds for the collection, classification and innovative design of pattern elements regarding the costumes of Guizhou＇s Yi people. Besides, the pluralistic colorful ethnic pattern elements of Guizhou＇ s Yi should be absorbed, innovative breakthroughs should be made, and market demands should be oriented. In this way, a number of innovative handicraft products for the Yi＇ s costume patterns can be worked out, which are characterized with noble cultural tastes, typical ethnic features, popular aesthetics of the present days, and a comprehensive use of many techniques and materials.
