The Minnan Family Culture on the South Sea Islands

南洋群岛有闽南各个家族的大量族裔,多姿多彩的闽南家族文化,亦由于多种因素的交互作用,随着这些闽南族裔扎根南洋而广泛传播开来。南洋的闽南家族文化,相较于闽南本土而言,内在基本精神并没有根本的不同。然而,文化环境的重大变异,使其外观形态产生较大差别,呈现出自身的不少特点。南洋的闽南家族文化,无论对于南洋闽南族裔的生存发展及南洋社会文化繁荣与经济进步,抑或对于南洋闽南族裔与闽南祖地的关系,皆产生了颇为深远的影响。

There were a large number of ethnic groups and colorful family culture in the South Sea Islands.Because of many factors of interaction,the Minan family culture spread widely in the South Sea Island with these ethnic groups taking root in the South Sea Island.The Minnan family culture in the South Sea Island was not fundamentally different from the native Minnan.However,the significant variation of the cultural environment made its appearance different and presented its own characteristics.No matter from survival and development of the ethnic groups,or from the prosperity and economic progress of the society and culture in the South Sea Island,or the relationship between the Minan ethnic groups in the South Sea Island and their ancestral lands,the Minan family culture has produced quite prominent and profound influence.
