In the maintenance of electromechanical equipment, reform and repair are effective measures to improveequipment performance and maintain normal production. Taking the reform of feed box of X62W knee -type millingmachine and the reform of cooler for single screw air compressor as examples, based on the analyses of failure causes, thefeed box and the cooler were reformed by replacing some parts or changing the connection mode of the parts, whichembodied the advantages of low investment and quick effect of reform and repair.
