摘要
本文以需求分析为理论,以问卷调查为工具,调查集美大学学生申请大学英语免修的原因以及他们对于后续课程的期待与需求。调查结果显示,申请免修主要是教材应用性不强;大部分的学生对于开设后续课程是积极参与的,在课程类型上侧重于语言应用类,并且在语言技能上希望能提高英语听说能力,主要目的是为了满足就业的需求。本文最后提出开设后续课程存在的问题以及相应的对策。
Based on the theory of Needs Analysis and with the help of questionnaire, the paper investigates the students' reasons for the exemption from college English course and their expectations on the follow-up English courses. The research results show that students apply for the exemptions because of the impractical teaching material, but most of them would like to attend the follow-up English course. They prefer to improve their ability in English application, especially in listening and speaking, for the purpose to find a satisfactory job. Finally, the paper puts forward the problems in the follow-up course and the corresponding suggestions.
