提升英语专业翻译能力的实践教学改革

Practice Teaching Reform of Improving English Majors' Translation Competence

翻译能力体现了译者完成翻译任务需掌握的多种知识和技能的总和,是专业英语翻译教学的主要目标。针对目前翻译教学现状,设计翻译实践教学改革方案。利用网络课堂Blackboard平台实施翻转课堂教学模式,通过多元化教学内容、过程+协作学习模式、以及课外实践拓展三方面改革,改变传统翻译的结果教学为过程教学,提升学生翻译认知能力、语言能力以及交际能力,以期为英语专业翻译课程的改革提供新的方法和视角。

Translation competence, which reflects the overall ability of a translator＇ s diversified knowledge and techniques in the fulfillment of translation tasks, is regarded as the main objective of English translation teaching.Targeted at the status quo of translation teaching, the present paper puts forward ideas for translation teaching reform. By applying flipped classroom teaching mode with the aid of Blackboard, an online education plafform, introducing diversified teaching contents and a process ＋ collaborative learning mode, and reforming extracurricular practice development, the paper suggests the transformation of a result-aimed teaching mode into a process-oriented one with a view to improving students＇ cognitive ability in translation, their language competence and communicative competence, thereby providing a novel perspective for the reform of translation course for English majors.
